UPDATE—November 5: Shawn reports that the book sale has been canceled because… all the books were purchased by a single buyer! Congratulations to all. The lone transaction empties the Memorial’s storage while keeping the collection (whatever it is) together.
On November 12, 1912, Spanish Prime Minister José Canalejas y Méndez was assassinated* by an anarchist (typical) while shopping for books in Madrid. The odds of that happening to you this November 12-15 are practically zero, so get to the George Washington Masonic National Memorial for its massive book sale!
*Franco, who himself is still dead, later blamed the Freemasons for the murder.
