‘Hudson Valley Masonicon coming in June’

The guys up in the Hudson Valley are doing it again. The 2024 Hudson Valley Masonicon is scheduled for Saturday, June 8 at Hoffman Lodge 412 in Middletown.

Joe Martinez, of The Masonic Roundtable podcast, will be the keynote speaker. (I read somewhere on the web that he is named after Martinez de Pasqually.)

I’m sure the rest of the roster will be engaging and entertaining. I’ll report those names when they are made available.

‘Hudson Valley Masonicon next Saturday’

This is just an update on the Hudson Valley Masonicon planned for next Saturday. The schedule of speakers has been announced, and it looks like a full day is in store for us. This will not be a tiled event. Dress is business casual. Lunch will be served. Cost per person is $15. From the publicity:

Registration and breakfast 8:30 to 9:50

First Speaker at 10 a.m.
Bro. Robert McLoughlin

Second Speaker at 10:40

Third Speaker at 11:20

Fourth Speaker at noon
Bro. Jim Loporto

Lunch and Masonic
Information Expo at 12:40 p.m.

Fifth Speaker at 1:50
Bro. Hubert Urrutia

Sixth Speaker at 2:30

Keynote Speaker at 3:10
Bro. Angel Millar

A gathering will follow at DeStefano’s Olde Erie at 7 West Main Street in Middletown starting at four o’clock.

I bought my ticket in February when Angel was the only speaker advertised. Other than Bro. McLoughlin, I am not familiar with the brethren now scheduled to speak, nor is there indication of their topics, but I’m optimistic. See you there.

‘Hudson Valley Masonicon'

Not much is known thus far, but save Saturday, April 8 for the Hudson Valley Masonicon (that’s how they’re spelling it), to be hosted by (but not at) Wallkill Lodge 627.

This will be at Hoffman Lodge 412 in Middletown, starting at 10 a.m. Register here. Tickets are priced at a mere $10 each through Sunday, March 12, at which time they will spike a crazy 50 percent to $15!

Angel Millar is the only speaker announced at this time, and I certainly will provide more information as it becomes available.
