‘Prince Hall grand historian to speak’

    

This year brings the sesquicentennial anniversary of the formation of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland, and an educational talk is scheduled for later this month to recount that founding and the history made thereafter.

On September 12, 1876, two grand lodges amalgamated to form today’s grand lodge. These were the M.W. Union G.L. of Maryland and the M.W. First Colored G.L. of Maryland. The expert who will speak is R.W. Seymour Chambers, Grand Historian.
