‘If a cigar burns in a Forest…’

If a cigar burns in a forest, and no one is around to smoke it, does it make a sweet aroma?

Welcome to the first Magpie Mason post concerning the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. This is prompted by news of a TCL Forest announcing a Halloween visit to a cigar bar—and I’m goin’.

Poshmark
Easton Forest 35 plans an afternoon at Famous Smoke Shop’s Easton, Pennsylvania headquarters. The image above has all the info. RSVP to Grand Tall Rice here.

I’m a Prophet in Grotto and am a former Shriner and a Sciot, but I’ve never been a Tall Cedar. (If I’m not mistaken, my grandfather was a member in the 1970s.) And I ain’t joining now, but there’s no harm in smoking in this Forest.

I remember, when I was a newly raised Mason, leisurely driving through Easton one weekend and passing a charming old school temple. I assume that’s where Easton Lodge 152 meets, and Forest 35 too. I’ll swing by again that afternoon on the way to Famous Smoke Shop.

Maybe see you there.
